Water billing issues

The El Dorado Water Utilities is working this month to catch up on its schedule for monthly billing, and as a result, most customers will be receiving two water bills, one for usage in July and the other for usage in August.

Garland Beasley, customer service manager of the EWU, said the situation has caused some confusion and frustration among customers who have begun receiving the second statements.

Beasley said several customers have complained about the second statements, and many of them have said they were unaware they would be receiving two bills in September.
