12:08 p.m.
Mt. Holly and Timberlane currently has high water, according to the El Dorado Police Department.
11:43 a.m.
El Dorado Police are asking people not to travel on city streets at this time.
The EPD is reporting that portions of North West Avenue near the Village shopping center are covered with water. A vehicle is flooded at Thompson and Oak, and portions of Grove Street are also flooded at this time.
Two cars are flooded at Grove and Ouachita.
The corner of Main and Thompson is blocked off.
Use caution if you are out. Do not attempt to drive through large areas of water.
Be warned, if you go outside today, you’re gonna get soaked. I’m still drying out.

As for the weather, forecasters with the National Weather Service in Shreveport say that we’re in for heavy rain — as much as four inches over the next day or so.
