Sobering look at how poor receive healthcare

I ran across an item today in Newsweek that details a free medical program in the poorest region of Virginia. Thank God for the medical professionals who give their time and effort to help people who are in desperate need of healthcare.

It’s shocking to think that in America, people are forced to live with rotting teeth and other illnesses until they either die from infection or become so withered with pain that they can’t live normal lives.

If you happen to see anything on the blog that doesn’t look quite right, e.g. a fuzzy photo or graphic, please let me know at jworthen@eldoradonews.com.

A studious reader pointed out to me yesterday that one of Speck’s cartoon’s appeared fuzzy on her home computer screen. To me, on my Mac, the image looked clear. The reader used a PC. Just wanted to pass this along because I want everyone to see the blog as it is supposed to be seen, crystal clear and without error.
