Space shuttle, International Space Station rocket over South Arkansas Monday evening

If you were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Shuttle Atlantis and the International Space Station as they shot across the sky Monday evening, you’ll understand when I say it was a spectacular show.
Two bright star-like lights crept over the northwestern horizon, then moved quickly to near mid-sky and off into the southeastern horizon.
Looking up and imagining what the people on board were doing, thinking that we actually have the ability to circle the Earth at such great heights, gave me hope that maybe mankind can finally pull things together for the common good.
Well, enough philosophy for now.
Sorry for the lack of posts so far today, but this blog is a one-man show for now, and I’ve been out covering court for most of the day. I will try to post more as I can. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Let me know via the comment section.
